Flower pot concept to charge mobile phones

    Flowerpot_charger.jpg
Recently we heard about the eco-friendly houseplant clock. Now there is this other concept by Japanese Mac Funamizu (there’s fun in his name, how cute) who has unveiled a foliage plant-like solar cell module. This design uses organic thin film solar cells which are coloured bright green and set in the leaves of the plant. It includes a plastic substrate, a phtalocyanine layer and a fullerene layer and an ability to harness the power of the sun. each solar module is sealed with a thin protective film which prevents the entry of water and oxygen. The energy that is generated from the plant in this manner is used to power any kind of electrical devices at home predominantly mobile phones. The flowerpot has a smooth cavity where you can place the phone using solar energy.

Solar Attic Fan to cool the house using exterior heat

    roof-mount-solar-attic-fan.jpg
A solar powered attic fan is the best solution to homes that are a nightmare during extreme climates and which look like a fungal plantation zone with the extra moisture in the air. Solarstar’s Roof Mount Solar Attic Fan helps convert the heat from outside to cool your indoors. It uses the ventilation technology and environmentally friendly benefits. The installation is very simple and doesn’t take more than half an hour. The highest point in the house is sought where the fan is installed. The fan then helps circulate air and ventilate the attic zone (or the point of installation) which in turn cools the rest of the house.

RainCloud C-15 brings drinking water from the air

RainCloud_C-15.jpg UK’s Cleanworld Ltd has come up with a way to save the water from a dehumidifier by converting it into drinkable water. The RainCloud C-15 can be kept in a house or office and what it does is converts the condensed water from a humid atmosphere and turns it into a dispenser to drink water. it has a built-in water purification system that will allow you to choose between hot and cold water. Isn’t it cool? I think so. But like always, the better things in life, the RainCloud C-15 costs $1,000.
