    Deux FM’s Mystique eco-friendly bikini

    eco-friendly_bikini.jpg
This eco-friendly business is getting really serious. After considering all the solar energy from the sun and all that, now some wide guy has turned towards apparel in the sun. It is the Deux FM’s Mystique Bikini and it is an eco-friendly swimsuit. It is a string bikini made from remnant fabric, nautical rope and organic cotton and has a bow-shaped bust. This so called ‘sexy’ thing comes in three colours – black, red and eggplant. By eggplant I feel they are mentioning purple? Ah well, you are serving the nation and the world extensively I feel with this bit. Show some skin for the male hormones and be glad that it is eco-friendly. Don’t know how much this would cost, but someone can gift this to Paris Hilton as she would be more than happy to do something good for the world, in more ways than one.

UFO disposable eco-friendly plates that will feed man and bird

    ufo_disposable_plates.jpg
The most annoying thing about a party is the disposable plates that are strewn all over your front yard. Designer Andrea Ruggiero from New York may have been extremely frustrated with this issue because his invention seems very practical and possible. He displayed the ‘UFO’ (unidentified feeding object) is a mono-use disposable plate ‘indisposed’ – an exhibition which invited designers to address notions of disposability in everyday products. It is made of a unique composite of blended bird seed, potato starch, guar gum, and a seaweed-like binding agent and are highly resistant to wet foods, vinegars and sauces, yet completely biodegradable, non-toxic, and vegan.

Butterfly wing vertical farm concept for New York City

    vincent dragonfly.jpg
I don’t get it. People have been coming up with such strange ideas for New York city, I can’t seem to wonder where is the space for all this! There was news sometime ago regarding a settlement in air and now here is a vertical farm based on the wings of a butterfly. Yes, literally that. Belgian based Vincent Callebaut Architectures has come up with a dragonfly vertical farm concept in the city located along the east river at the south edge of Rooselvelt Island in New York city. The tower will apparently be self sufficient in water, energy and bio fertilizing. It will have 132 floors and 600 vertical meters and will be able to accommodate 28 different agricultural fields for the production of fruit, vegetables, grains, meat and dairy.
