\nSolar energy teamed with flower power, how can any of this every go wrong! Artist Dan Corson created these solar-powered flower-shaped installations that stand 33 feet high, each. Besides looking extremely beautiful and making regular human-beings feel ant-sized, these installations also generate energy! Each of these \u201cflowers\u201d packs solar PV panels with 48 solar cells, producing up to 4.6Wp. Together, the flowers produce 1,104Wp!

\nThe project is a collaboration between the Pacific Science Centre and a Washington-based utility called Seattle City Light and is installed at the former\u2019s facility. Supported by City Light\u2019s Green Up program and in-kind donations, these power flowers are accessible 24 hours a day and are indeed a treat to watch, as they hum and generate green juice out of the sun\u2019s rays!<\/p>\n
