Brining Mitsubishi\u2019s dream for a greener tomorrow to light, the system powered by 96, 175W photovoltaic modules from Mitsubishi Electric and will help juice up EVs like the Mitsubishi i, lined up for a November release. Capable of juicing for EVs at a time, the station has three different types of chargers with different voltage supplies, including a standard level 1 voltage (110v) charger that will deliver a 100% charge in just 22 hours; a level 2 (220v) charger which can replenish batteries in six hours; and a level 3 CHAdeMO Quick Charger, which can charge to 80% battery capacity in 25 minutes!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nA laudable move by Mitsubishi Motors and Mitsubishi Electric, we hope to see more of these chargers show up around.<br \/>\n[<a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/mission-mitsubishi-announces-mitsubishi-debuts-solar-powered-vehicle-070307441.html\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">Yahoo<\/a>]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cypress, California, now plays home to the first solar-powered charging station for EVs in the region, put up by Mitsubishi Electric and Mitsubishi Motors.
