Well, these two cars might not ever touch production lines, though the very thought put behind their design and development has left us gazing in awe! The automotive firm unveiled two <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1190801-4202256.cloudwaysapps.com\/transport\/bmw-plans-for-an-electric-car-to-hit-the-road-by-2013.php\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">electric cars<\/a>, the i3 concept, designed to be a urban commuter with a range of 150 kilometers (93 miles) and a 125 kilowatt (167 horsepower) motor driving the rear wheels, using a <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1190801-4202256.cloudwaysapps.com\/transport\/megacity-bmws-first-car-to-use-carbon-fiber-in-its-construction.php\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">carbon fiber-reinforced plastic<\/a> for weight reduction and better strength and the i8 on the other hand is a paradigm shift away from any sports car we\u2019ve ever seen in the history of the automotive industry probably. The car sports an all-wheel drive system with a total of 349 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque and weighs in at just 3,262 pounds.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nWe\u2019re just going to keep our fingers crossed and hope that these two drool worthy cars do make it to the asphalt!
