However, charging them up does indirectly lead to pollution, given that most grids have coal and oil fired power plants pumping juice. Newbie SolarCity with a $280 million investment poured in by Google has on offer <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1190801-4202256.cloudwaysapps.com\/transport\/solarpowered-electric-charging-station-from-toyota-industries.php\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">solar EV chargers<\/a>, aimed to turn EVs around the United States and the world at large, truly carbon-neutral. The Level 2 (240 volt) ClipperCreek charger costs $1,500 installed while solar cells that charge it up costs about $50 a month.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nNow a $50 dollar-a-month fee seems pretty inexpensive, since an average driver spends about $230 a month on gasoline!
