Made completely out of wood, the bike has every single part made from either birch plywood, Lignum Vitae, Ekki or an old broom handle. The idea was conceived by designer Michael Thompson, six months after making a joke bet, proving that just about anything could be <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1190801-4202256.cloudwaysapps.com\/other-stuff\/ecofriendly-iphone-ipod-wood-cases-by-vers.php\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">constructed from wood<\/a>! Taking about a thousand hours to build this marvelously clean way to travelling, though seemingly uncomfortable, Thompson\u2019s bike weighs in at 68 pounds.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThe wooden tires and hard wood seat though might just be a pain in the backside, literally, and Thompson\u2019s buddy, Ekki Tully will attempt a <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress-1190801-4202256.cloudwaysapps.com\/recycle\/world-record-set-for-most-bottles-recycled-in-eight-hours-in-shanghai.php\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"follow external noopener noreferrer\">world record<\/a> on it.
