There’s no better time to enjoy a mug of refreshing
beer than the summer season. Toronto brewery Steam Whistle realizes that too, and is keen on bringing you your beer in a green way. The Canadian firm recently overhauled a 1958 Chevrolet Apache pickup giving it electric insides, enabling it to haul kegs and cases without spewing out carbon emissions in the air. The firm has forever loved using vintage trucks to deliver their frothy beverages and is continuing to do so, while reducing emissions. The newly modified electric truck, rechristened the Retro Electro, uses an Azure Dynamics motor and 24 lithium-iron phosphate batteries, tipping the scales at 5,000 pounds with a 100 mile range and an 8-hour charge time.
