The fuel-cell Black Cab is now road legal, certified by UK&#8217;s Vehicle Certification Authority. Before the 2012 Summer Olympics, London is looking forward to have a whole fleet of these cars doing the rounds. Using a 30 kW Intelligent Energy fuel cell and a 14-kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack, the green Black Cab sports a 100 kW (peak), 55 kW (continuous) electric motor. With a top speed of 81 miles per hour and acceleration to 60mph in 14 seconds, this one\u2019s just about right for the busy London streets. The cab also has a said range of 250 miles on a single charge.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nAnd with that, the London city streets will go greener with tons of carbon emissions reduced on an annual level.
