\nHere\u2019s yet another list, this time rating the greenest city in Asia. Out of 21 cities taken into study, Singapore topped the list. The city\u2019s energy and carbon emissions, land use and buildings, transportation, waste management, water management, sanitation, air quality and environmental governance was taken into consideration. Tokyo and Hong Kong were among the above average cities while Shanghai and Delhi stood in the average category. Mumbai, Bengaluru and Kolkata however were included in the below average with Karachi standing in the well below average category.<\/p>\n
\nHopefully, city administrations take this into considerations, and work towards matching up standards set by Singapore and exceeding them. Greener metropolises are the need of the day!
