So keen that the Volvo Trucks division is now busy building the Mean Green diesel-electric hybrid truck that might just claim the World&#8217;s Fastest Hybrid Truck in spring 2011. Trucking ace hailing from Sweden, Boije Ovebrink, will drive this one around. The truck uses a 16-liter Volvo engine and is fitted with Volvo Penta twin turbos, increasing peak output to a whopping 1,900 hp (1,417 kW).
