Amazing, isn\u2019t it? That\u2019s exactly what we thought too! Now judging by its appearance, this vehicle does look like a skateboard, more than a full-fledged automobile, but then again, its size, weight and compact body structure do lend a hand in keeping its mileage incredibly high.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThe vehicle has earned its second place at the SAE Supermileage Competition that took place last month. The developers hope to further tweak it, and break the world record, having the vehicle travel over 3,200 miles (5,150 km) on a gallon of gas.
