Now Saudi Arabia has one too! We\u2019re talking about solar parks, built by Conergy. The one built at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) by the company in Saudi Arabia is the largest solar park in the kingdom, and is also the first of its kind. The 2MW solar plant uses two rooftop solar photovoltaic installations. Each of these can produce a single megawatt. The photovoltaics have been installed on the rooftops of the north and south laboratories and consists of around 9,300 high efficiency solar modules combined with Conergy Suntop III mounting systems and Conergy 280K central inverters.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/>\nThe modules cover up a space of 11,577 square meters producing around 3,332 megawatt hours of energy yearly. This saves up around 33,320 tons of carbon emissions!
