• The lightweight T.25 city car by Gordon Murray Design is cheaper to assemble

  • G.jpgAs more and more cars fill up our city streets leading to an increased number of gridlocks, the only intelligent way out of the chaos seems to be a size reduction policy. Which is exactly why, cars around us today are opting for smaller sizes. The smaller they get, the more the appealing they seem to become! And that’s exactly what Gordon Murray Designs figured out, developing the T.25 city car. And yes, this one is feather-light, as compared to the bulky SUVs and MUVs we’ve been coming across lately. The T.25 city car weighs just 1,212 pounds, powered by a 51 horsepower engine.

With a 62mpg, the T.25 looks some what weird, cute, and tiny and curved at all the right angles. The car also is comparatively cheaper to build on an assembly line, with the building taking up just 20% of the space of traditional car factories. This sure seems to be a good deal, making the car seem pretty desirable.
