• Honda’s electric U3-X Unicycle makes Segway look like a dork

The film Wall-E showed the nightmarish scenario of people being so obese that they don’t walk anymore, instead are moved around in a pimped out floating Segway of sorts. Honda seems to be on its way to fulfilling that scenario with the launch of its U3-X unicycle, next month at the Tokyo Motor show. This self-balancing electric unicycle is much cooler when compared to the dorky Segway; it’s a super light personal mobility system which is perfect for those who are too lazy for the standing that a Segway requires. The Honda U3-X weighs in at just 22 pounds, has a handle to carry it around and runs at the speed of 3.7 miles an hour for an hour on it fully charged lithium ion batteries.
