Apple stores have always known to be a great way to experience products first hand, without a pesky salesman following you around, desperately trying to earn his incentives, and usually misleading you to buy stuff. Picking a leaf from the Apple tree, Electric-car startup Coda Automotive recently flung the doors open of its first auto showroom at the Westfield Century City Shopping Center in Los Angeles, called the Coda Experience Center. Complete with a chilled-out vibe around the place, the showroom includes an Electric Vehicle Bar, which provides computers and interactive displays to educate and inform consumers about electric cars, and just why they do a lot better than gas-guzzlers.

Also, the showroom includes energy efficient lighting, neutral concrete flooring, formaldehyde free plywood and recycled stainless steel, making it as green as the cars it sells.
