Maybe we haven’t yet figured out how cars in the future will probably look and function as. We do know how the BMW M3 will though, or almost do. The 2050 version of the BMW M3 designed by Daniel Nikonchik is everything a concept car of the future needs to be. It’s green and features some pretty awesome stuff like Nano Paint, fiber optic door jams, fully down loadable interiors, and millions of nano sized cameras incorporated with the exterior paint that allows occupants to see through body panels. It uses a high-torque electric motor powered by hydrogen power cells, giving out water from its “exhaust” pipe. The car opens up like a flower, so those traditional hinged doors will seem pretty much antique in the future!

Now we really are left wondering why exactly it would take 40 years to develop a car like this. We trust BMW to come up with an electric concept like this one a lot sooner!
