• Controversy Tram and Train Inn recycled out of tram, train and motor parts

  • Tram_and_Train.jpg
We have seen luxurious hotel rooms designed by recycling ship containers, wine barrels and more. Now its time to ride on the trams or rather reside in these out-of-job transport compartments. Four former Dutch and German trams have been refurbished into a comfortable inviting eco-hotel. Frank and Irma Appel, the folks behind the Controversy Tram and Train Inn have fitted the bedroom with a bed recycled out of a boat. And who says that stopping by at eco-hotels means literally living it out in the nature? Watch out for luxurious amenities like TV, projector, Jacuzzi, air-conditioner, heater, oven and much more. The whole Mexican theme setup is furnished with old car parts and traffic light too. For $85 per person, it will definitely take you to places if not literally on wheels.
