Playing with the small slates using chalks or those slate pens are always the better memories of childhood. Now however with the world zooming into the futuristic mode, an Indian researcher and his colleagues at the Rice University has discovered the I-Slate. This is a solar-powered, WiFi, stylus-controlled tablet PC that uses probabilistic CMOS technology designed by Dr Krishna Palem and his team. This was introduced at the IEEE’s 125th Anniversary event and can download lesson plans and help children with their math. The prototypes will start making the rounds in India coming spring.
