• Low-power, eco friendly ZOTAC GeForce 9800GT Eco unveiled

    Since IT is a field most delved into by the present day generations, to keep a balance between the technology and conventional styles of living, more options are being unveiled by huge technology firms. ZOTAC has just launched the low-power, eco-friendly ZOTAC GeForce 9800GT Eco. It features 112 stream processors and 512MB GDDR3 memory technology and is also 40 percent more power efficient. The 9800GT Eco has a 256-bit memory interface, a shader clock and memory clock which run at speeds of 1375 MHz and 1800 MHz respectively. It supports Nvidia’s CUDA, PhysX and PureVideo HD technologies, is SLI ready and uses a PCI Express 2.0 interface and supports resolutions up to 2560×1600 and is compatible with DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 and OpenGL 2.1.


    This launch was part of the company to ‘come to a crossroads with graphics technology to use graphics cards to accelerate non-3D applications’.
