Large solar sail shaped meteorological station is self-sufficient

Tim Ritcher from Germany has been inspired by nature to conceptualize a meteorological station. Shaped like a mammothic solar sail, this structure is designed to be self-sufficient. Using high-tech features, it can create energy, protect itself and offers shelter too. Though not more is known about this solar sail weather station, the concept will appeal to many who intend to bring about a green change in the current environmental state of affairs. Such an earth-friendly weather station will also help to make clean observations of atmospheric conditions in order to provide information to make weather forecasts and also to study the weather and climate further.
