E-carts, the finest means to shop and generate power!

Going shopping would have never been a justification to do your bit for the environment and shopping carts producing energy would have been unheard of, if not for the recent introduction of e-carts to be used in supermarkets. The cart generates power as we walk around dropping groceries in it. These innovative shopping carts are fitted with wheels that produce kinetic energy every time the cart is moved and the wheels are set in motion. This energy generated by the cart is then stored in the main power unit when the cart docked. Unbelievable though it may sound, designers propose that the energy collected in the docking station can be used to power up the entire supermarket for a month.
