A wind-powered knitting machine

Ingenious artist Merel Karhof has a solution for the monotony of the knit – purl – knit – purl routine. She has designed and invented a new machine that knits on it own with the help of the power of the wind. She has named it has the Wind Knitting factory. The machine however looks like a crossover of an old coffee grinder and a medieval torture device and can knit a scarf in like 2 hours. Well that is pretty cool for me if I don’t have to do the knitting and it runs on renewable energy!
